Stained glass of St David's church, Exeter

This web-site presents images of all the stained-glass windows of St David's church in Exeter. The idea for the creation of the site came from Jeremy Lawford, who has provided all the information about the windows that you can read on the following pages. The site is in draft form at present. Mike Gillan (gillan.mike@gmail.com), who took all the photos and developed this web-site, welcomes suggestions for improvement.

Scroll down this page to see a list of the stained-glass windows in the church, starting with the first window on the south wall as you enter the church, moving round the church in an anti-clockwise direction, and ending at the west wall. Click on any item in this list to go to the page where you can see one or more photos of the window, together with something about its history.

At the bottom of this page is a link to the file-sharing section where you have access to the image files. In that section, you can download the files so that you can study the images in more detail. You will be asked to register in order to do that by providing an email address and a password. Once you have registered, to download files on subsequent visits you will need to provide your email address and the password you set when you registered.
